Arapaho Blackberry

Thornless blackberry bush with tall erect canes.  4-6 feet tall and 3-4 feet wide when mature. Self-pollinating.  Sweet, small berry with small seeds.

Planting

Plant in full sun 2-4 feet apart. Transplant December - February
Do not require trellising, but some support space is needed.

Caring

Blackberries need well-draining, rich soil with frequent watering. However, they do not need heavy fertilizing.

Harvesting

Fruit is borne on the current year's growth. Berries ripen in May and June. Turn from red to black before they are fully ripe.
