Lemon Grass is a perennial in our Florida zone. Leaves remain green most of the year. It can grow to 6 feet tall and 4 feet wide.
Used in Thai-style foods/soups/curries. Can also be a natural mosquito repellent around your home or in the garden.
Planting
Plant in full sun during the Spring. It can grow tall and up to 4 feet wide, so space accordingly.
Caring
Lemon Grass needs warm humid conditions. Fertilize weekly during June – September (high nitrogen) for best results.
